Cinnamon and cardamom buns at Swedish bakery Fabrique
A leisurely Sunday afternoon with coffee and a tasty duo of cinnamon and cardamom buns at Swedish bakery Fabrique, housed in one of the arches of the Hoxton Overground station. I’m not sure if the Swedish kanelbullar actually translates as cinnamon bun or cinnamon roll, but that is a gorgeous knot of spiced pastry there. The buns are less fluffy than the ones I’ve had in Sweden, but they are very delicious. Just det!

a visit to Battersea Power Station
As part of the Chelsea Fringe, there was a pop-up park — with incredibly luscious, thick grass — in front of the massive Battersea Power Station.
Street Feast London at Merchant Yard
Perfect evening for a street food dinner at Street Feast London in Merchant Yard, on Kingsland Road just north of the canal. At Merchant Yard until the end of June 2013.
The Freedom Box from Rainbo (@rainbofood): 6 gyoza, edamame and salad for £6 — delicious and virtuous!
Rack of ribs from the famous Ribman (@theribman). Baps filled with shredded rib meat were on offer, but I like my ribs on the bone. A quick inquiry into whether racks were also available yielded this bonanza. So, so good.
Dessert (@you_doughnut) — light donut holes from You Doughnut! Without the various sauces on offer, just a dusting of sugar.
